Social Activism, Drag Show, and More!

With CAW over, we still have a lot of events to look forward to during the coming semester. Some details about social activism events are below!

SDA and Zeta Chi's Drag Show is coming up soon! In fact, it's October 24 from 9 to 11 pm on the Esplanande. SDA would love for their fellow TDC associate groups to participate. If your group would like to participate, be sure to sign up by October 7 and if you're nervous, attend the Drag Workshop on October 22 in the Fiesta room. All proceeds from this event go to the San Antonio AIDS Foundation.

TDC is considering participating in a campus-wide event called Trinity For Change. Groups at this event would have a table to raise awareness about a social issue of their choosing. (Picture the Student Involvement Fair, but instead of clubs, you learn about pressing social issues and possible solutions.) If your group would like to participate, please email Jasdeep with your social issue ASAP. Don't miss out on this chance to educate the Trinity community about an important issue!

Most nights exceeded expectations in terms of attendance and creativity. The board will announce who won the attendance competition at our next meeting on September 26th. Stay tuned for pictures!

CAW!!

CAW is fast approaching! In fact, it's just around the corner and everyone is busy preparing. This week is about celebrating and learning about different aspects of diversity, but mostly we want you to have a ton of fun! In addition to learning something new, you will almost definitely meet someone new. What's not to love?

Schedule of Events

If you can't make it for one night, be sure to go to another! Every night will offer a variety of activities, so stop by whenever you can.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email Hang Bui, our program coordinator, or any member of the board! Remember that the groups in the event night with the biggest attendance will receive a prize.
